Carlo della Corte’s poetic activity begins in 1970 with the collection Versi incivili. The title of this book is emblematic of the image that the poet gives of himself: an invisible and unapproachable man, therefore ‘uncivilized’, whose isolation allows him to watch the reality in a disenchanted way. Della Corte’s poetic, strongly autobiographical and supported by a robust technique of writing and composition, is developed in later collections: the trilogy formed by the poems L’anatra muta, Il viaggio finisce qui and Piccola teologia highlights the poet’s contradictions between knowledge and faith: the last metaphysical hazard manifests itself, ironically, in the dialogue between the poet and a God named as a comic-book’s character. More moving outcomes and more intimate tones are obtained in della Corte’s dialect poetry, inspired by Giacomo Noventa’s style.

Abstract
More moving outcomes and more intimate tones are obtained in della Corte’s dialect poetry, inspired by Giacomo Noventa’s style.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
