Nostalgia, alegoria e restus: processos de deconstrução na elaboração identitária vêneta no Rio Grande do Sul

The construction of the Italian identity in the south of Brazil is a constant production of readings of the past experience restus, which works as mnemagohi in a pseudo-ressurrection of the past. In this way, the imagetic reconstruction of a nonterritorialized Veneto’s –crystallized in Rio Grande do Sul – is part of a nostalgic reading of these remaining marks of the experiencial past of the first Italian immigrants and of its remembrances of the departure land. The dust and allegories, the restus and the residuum of a imaginary Veneto’s and the colonization process in Conde d’Eu constructed different mnemonic representations of the past, linked to diverse sensibility expressions, to the mnemagohi – instruments used to call back memory.
