Imigração em tempos de crise internacional: nova percepção sobre o brasileiro no exterior

The beginning of the XXI century is been characterized by a strong change in the international panorama, thinking about the partition of the decisions in a worldwide level. The two deep economic crisis – 2008 and current – are forcing the enlargement of the international economic policies forums, opening spaces to the so called emerging market economies. In this context, the European countries and their citizens start to pay attention to the Brazilians economic growth, looking yo him another time as the portrait of the opportunities land. Therefore, the main idea of this article is to think about how this situation is influencing the perception about Brazilians abroad and about their representation about the country. New images about Brazil are borning, even if old stereotypes continues exist, but the idea that Brazilian communities are better prepared to work with the differences and with integration dynamics is strong.
