Pasolini e il Liceo Galvani

Pasolini and Galvani High School · Pasolini hardly mentioned Galvani high school and the the few times he did, excepting a single circumstance, he was brief; this laconicism, along with the discredit that has fallen upon the Italian school system, has caused gaps in the bibliography concerning our author: scholars have focused on Pasolini’s academic education and so his former career has been in effect neglected. By relying on various archival materials found directly at Galvani, my paper sheds new light on this subject: it aims to demonstrate the importance of that high school for the poet’s bloom; it points out a fund of knowledge made both of books and teachers, which philologists will have to deepen.
