In 2011, the poet and artist, Fernanda Dias, made her work public of poetic transcreation of one of the most important and well-known in Chinese culture – the Yi Jing 易經, commonly called Bookof Mutations. I tried to highlight, in a simple and very summarized, three actions that I see in this courageous book: 1 – search for a way back to the foundations of Chinese culture, since its version proceeds from a certain “archaeological textual” look; 2 – highlight the visionarism that is present in the mythical origin of the book itself, and 3 – rescuing the poetry of the text, obscured by the comments that have been added to the work throughout the time.
