Proposta di direttiva sul salario minimo ed equo compenso: il caso del lavoro autonomo professionale, le tariffe professionali e regole della concorrenza

Purpose: The contribution aims to investigate the relationship between fair compensation at national level and European competition law. Methodology: The research is based on a legal-normative, doctrinal and jurisprudential analysis. Findings: The research demonstrates that a subjective and objective extension of fair compensation law at national level would not conflict with European competition law. Research limitations/implications: The research demonstrates the need to protect professional self- employment also in relation to remuneration at national level, but keeping always into consideration the developments in European regulation and case law in this specific area. Originality: The research analyses the regulation of fair compensation also in the light of recent decisions of the European Court of Justice.
