Oltre la "Giuntina di rime antiche": Dante lirico in G. G. Trissino

Firstly the essay outlines the presence of Dante’s lyric poetry in the editions printed between the late fifteenth century and 1529, when the first four «divisioni» of the "Pωεtica" and the "Rime" by G. G. Trissino were published: the main focus is on the "Giuntina di rime antiche" (1527), in which most of Dante’s poems (including those from the "Vita nuova") were printed for the first time. The essay recapitulates which poems Trissino believed should not be assigned to Dante; then, it examines the "Pωεtica" treatise, analyzing which poems are quoted and why, while trying to identify some quotations that are only hinted. Finally, it suggests some connections between a canzone by Trissino and Dante’s lyric production.

Il saggio ripercorre anzitutto la presenza del Dante lirico nelle edizioni stampate fra la fine del XV secolo e il 1529, anno in cui sono pubblicate le prime quattro «divisioni» della "Pωεtica" e le "Rime" di G. G. Trissino: particolare attenzione è rivolta alla "Giuntina di rime antiche" (1527), in cui erano stati stampati per la prima volta molti testi lirici danteschi (compresi quelli della "Vita nuova"). Il saggio passa in rassegna i componimenti che Trissino riteneva non doversi attribuire a Dante; quindi, prende in esame il trattato della "Pωεtica", verificando quali testi siano citati e perché, e tentando al contempo di individuare delle menzioni che sono solo alluse. Infine, propone dei collegamenti fra una canzone trissiniana e la produzione lirica dantesca.
