Zur Angliederung der Officina dei Papiri Ercolanesi an die Nationalbibliothek in Neapel und den Inventarnummern der herkulanischen Papyri

In 1910, the Officina dei Papiri Ercolanesi was re-founded as an independent institute, and transferred from the National Museum in Naples to the National Library. The article presents the background and the details of this process on the basis of archival material edited here for the first time. The documentation also allows us to correct the classification of the inventory numbers of the Herculaneum papyri that are listed in the Catalogo dei Papiri Ercolanesi and in certain databases, but otherwise no longer in use.
