The aim of this paper is to focus on the main transformation in the Venetian region between teh end of the 8th and the begin of the 6th century B.C., in the period that is known in Etruscan and Italic culture sas orientalizzante. We propose to analyze archaeological data from recent excavations in the Venetic sites and necropoleis. For that purpose, we have selected some indicators and organized synoptic tables, focused not only in the types but also on the quantity of findings. In our opinion this analysis helps us to understand teh increasing commercial traffic from south to north and vice versa. The dual indicators of quality and quantity are enriched if we consider the perishable component, and this increases the framework of information. This allows us to draw conclusions about the original features of the Venetic Orienyalizing period, with its advantageous contacts with Etruscan cities from south to north Etruria. Alongside the well-known axis between northern Etruria, mostly the Chiusi area, to the Atestine sector with the mediation of Bologna, interctions cab be examined with southern Etruria and Campanoa, probably along the Adriatic coasts.

Abstract
Alongside the well-known axis between northern Etruria, mostly the Chiusi area, to the Atestine sector with the mediation of Bologna, interctions cab be examined with southern Etruria and Campanoa, probably along the Adriatic coasts.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
