Declinazioni nuove di problemi antichi: l’impatto della digitalizzazione sul mercato del lavoro e le perduranti incerte risposte del sistema di sicurezza sociale

The paper investigates how the influence of new technologies on labour relations is also reflected in the Italian social security system. After a trend to universali- zation of the area of social security which began a few decades ago, the legislator, also following European indications, has to implement welfare provision, first of all the basic income, in order to guarantee a free and dignified existence even to the workers of the platforms. But it is necessary to figure out what characteristics such a measure should have to help poor workers to leave the cage of precariousness.
