This case study deals with the possibility of inserting the themes of environmental education and environmental management in a business school in the interior of Minas Gerais. Roberta, an effective teacher at the institution, began researching sustainability in her doctoral studies. Since then, she has dedicated a significant part of her time to researching sustainable development in organizations. When she arrived at the university, she joined a group of professors who were developing research in this area. Through a diagnosis made in the unit about the teaching of administration and its relationship with environmental issues, they identified a significant gap between reality and practice. Thus, the group of researchers reassessed teaching, research and extension so that environmental education and the study of environmental management in organizations were included in the Management course.
