Abstract
the paper aims to investigate the socializing function of the theatre that is inserted in the public context to bring out collective problems. This artistic practice can be found in contemporary experimental theatricality that breaks the patterns of classical representation to engage the viewer in a participatory perspective. These forms, which combine artistic participation and collective action, arise from reflections based on an interpersonal dialogicity that occurs through the breakdown of boundaries between actor and spectator and promotes the emergence of an awareness of critical phenomena in contemporary society. To analyze the socio-cultural significance of these practices is presented a case study to raise awareness on the issue of sex trafficking involving professors and students of Ca’ Foscari, Ca’ Foscari Sustainable and the cultural association BEAWARENOWI documenti in ARCA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
