Abstract
The Politics has been written in a exoteric style, but with a strong theoretical basis. Aristotle's definition of citizenship is a functional one, and is based on the idea of the ergon which qualifies the citizen as such. Such definition is not an endoxon, but a true and basic principle of his politikê philosophia. Starting from this definition Aristotle derives some of the main points of his political theory, as the criterion of citizenship and the distinction between good and bad constitutions.File in questo prodotto:
