This paper aims at carrying out a study of the translation of the discursive markers infatti/difatti into Spanish, which are also qualified as argumentative operators and to find out what translatological treatment they have undergone throughout the translational process in the in the lexicographical framework between typologically related languages (Spanish-Italian). To this end, the first step will be the consultation of monolingual repertoires, both Italian and Spanish, and then, we will check their presence in bilingual dictionaries. Finally, we intend to analyse how a professional translator has undertaken the translation of these linguistic operators into Spanish.
