This article proposes a reading of Josep Palau i Fabre’s cultural intervention from a triple perspective: poetry, art and translation. Beginning with a reflection on the theory of translation, some examples of appropriation (translation) from other authors (Dalí and Picasso, Rimbaud) are discussed. These were authors that for so many reasons were very close to Palau i Fabre’s work. Close reading of two poems devoted to Dalí illuminate the analysis.
