In a copy of Libellus de legatione Basilii by Paolo Giovio (1525), belonging to Venice’s Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, the discovery has been made of the only copy known up to now of the printed map of Muscovy announced by the author in the first few lines of his work and supposed to have gone missing. Giampiero Bellingeri, who made the discovery, will explain the circumstances of his find; Marica Milanesi will describe the map.
