"National and cultural specific characteristics of Russian and Italian communicative behavior and speech etiquette". This work addresses the contrastive analysis of the category of linguistic politeness in Russian and Italian cultures. The aim of this paper is to find universal as well as national-marked elements of speech etiquette and communicative behavior of the Russians and the Italians, which cause difficulties of intercultural communication. The paper is based on the concrete examples of speech etiquette and polite formulas in Russian and Italian.
