Teorías del diario. A propósito de Iñaki Uriarte y Pere Rovira

This article discusses a theoretical approach to literary diaries as a modality of writing based on a reading of a couple of recent examples, Iñaki Uriarte’s Diarios. 1999-2003 (2010) and Pere Rovira’s La finestra de Vermeer (2016). The consideration begins with a review of some theoretical approaches to the diary by critics such as Blanchot, Barthes and Didier, that serves as a basis for exploring Uriarte and Rovira’s diaries and their remarkable divergences and affinities.
