Abstract
In the past three decades, a growing number of historians with a heightened interest in spatiality have turned their attention to the spaces as a means to understand historical and social processes. A new attentiveness to space in the humanities – the so-called ‘spatial turn’ – has also informed the study of nations. This discussion essay examines some of the theoretical approaches to the study of nations supporting this turn to space and suggests a reconceptualization of time and space in the age of globalization.File in questo prodotto:
