Among the different artistic appearances in the cervantine work, there are two poems with interesting pictorial elements: the early sonnet “A san Francisco” presents an ekphrasis in which the exhibition of artistic knowledges shows a social and courtesan use of poetry, while the “romance” to Altisidora (“Suelen las fuerzas de amor”, Quixote, II, 46) takes advantage of a series of pictorial technical terms in a comic way.

Abstract
Among the different artistic appearances in the cervantine work, there are two poems with interesting pictorial elements: the early sonnet “A san Francisco” presents an ekphrasis in which the exhibition of artistic knowledges shows a social and courtesan use of poetry, while the “romance” to Altisidora (“Suelen las fuerzas de amor”, Quixote, II, 46) takes advantage of a series of pictorial technical terms in a comic way.File in questo prodotto:
