The paper presents a preliminary report of the most recent archaeological activities carried out in the roman town of Claterna (Ozzano dell’Emilia - BO) by Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, Soprintendenza Archeologia dell’Emilia Romagna, and Associazione Civitas Claterna. After summarizing the story of the town from its foundation in the II century BC to its decay between the VI and the VII century AD, we report a brief description of the archaeological sequence of the eastern half of the so called “Domus del Fabbro”, providing information concerning the planimetric and functional evolution of the spaces, and the building techniques. In the last section of the paper, we take into consideration the pottery and numismatic records in order to insert the “Domus del Fabbro” in the more complex framework of the Italian late antiquity.

Abstract
In the last section of the paper, we take into consideration the pottery and numismatic records in order to insert the “Domus del Fabbro” in the more complex framework of the Italian late antiquity.I documenti in ARCA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
