Only in the 14th century it appears in Church Slavonic the type of manuscripts “Miscellaneous ascetic-monastic” and this occurs at first in the community linked to Gregory of Sinai in Bulgaria. Since the 1360s, these tracts were taken to Mount Athos, in the Serbian language environment and are enriched with additional texts. In particular appear for the first time within the slavonic texts anti-Latin not only controversial but theological, as the treats of Patriarch Germanus II, Gregory Palamas and Nilus Cabasilas.
Soltanto nel XIV secolo compare in lingua slava il tipo di manoscritti “Miscellanee ascetico-monastiche” e questo avviene dapprincipio nell'ambiente legato a Gregorio il Sinaita in Bulgaria. A partire dagli anni 60 del secolo, queste raccolte passando al monte Athos, in ambiente linguistico serbo, e si arricchiscono di ulteriori testi. In particolare compaiono per la prima volta in ambito slavo testi anti-latini di carattere non soltanto polemico ma teologico, come i testi del patriarca Germano II, di Gregorio Palamas e di Nilo Cabasilas.
