The purpose of this essay is to highlight the main changes contained in the Regulation (EC) N. 593/2008 ("Rome I"), with particular reference to B2B Contracts. A table has been included comparing the provisions of the new Regulation with those of the 1980 Rome Convention. In the second part of the essay, consideration will be given to the impact of Regulation Rome I on arbitration practice.
