This poster presents the results of a teaching experience at the Fine Arts Academy of Venice, held in the context of the experimental degree in New Technologies for the Arts (NTA). The teaching was focused on the design of 3D interactive environments and included a consistent tutorial activity focused on the use of visual tools for implementing such worlds. The course had a positive impact on the students’ creativity and it was also an occasion for verifying the points of weakness and strength of such visual tools, when used by interactive 3D content designers that didn’t have a background as computer programmers.
