Twenty-three polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were analysed by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a variable wavelength absorption detector. Compounds not chromatographically resolved were individually quantified by using characteristic UV-VIS absorption maxima programmed over three runs during the chromatographic separation. Detection limits ranging from 0.1 to 1 ng g-1 (dry weight) were found in the analysis of sediment core extracts.

Abstract
Twenty-three polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were analysed by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with a variable wavelength absorption detector. Compounds not chromatographically resolved were individually quantified by using characteristic UV-VIS absorption maxima programmed over three runs during the chromatographic separation. Detection limits ranging from 0.1 to 1 ng g-1 (dry weight) were found in the analysis of sediment core extracts. © 1987.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
