L’addestramento mentale in sette punti — Commentario di Se Chilbu Chökyi Gyaltsen

This contribution presents an Italian translation from Tibetan of Se Chilbu Chökyi Gyaltsen’s commentary on The Seven-Point Mind Training. The work provides an extensive exposition of the lojong tradition, framing Buddhist practice in terms of abandoning self-centred grasping and cultivating concern for others. It discusses the transmission of mind-training instructions, the cultivation of bodhicitta, the transformation of adverse circumstances into the path, the practices of giving and taking (tonglen), the commitments and precepts of mind training, and the integration of these instructions into everyday conduct. The commentary also preserves important elements of the early Kadam transmission and repeatedly connects practical contemplative instructions with scriptural and doctrinal sources.
