This contribution presents an Italian translation from Tibetan of L’addestramento mentale in sette punti (The Seven-Point Mind Training), traditionally attributed to Geshe Chekawa Yeshe Dorje. The text organizes the practice of lojong into seven sections, addressing preliminary practices, the cultivation of relative and ultimate bodhicitta, the transformation of adverse circumstances into the path, the practice of a lifetime, signs of successful mind training, commitments, and practical precepts. Particular emphasis is placed on the practices of giving and taking (tonglen), the transformation of self-centred attitudes, and the integration of mind training into everyday conduct. The translation was prepared directly from Tibetan textual sources.
