This contribution presents an Italian translation from Tibetan of Kyabje Chöden Rinpoche’s Guida al [testo] Separarsi dai quattro attaccamenti composto da Jetsün Dragpa Gyaltsen. The commentary situates the teaching on “Parting from the Four Attachments” within the broader structure of the Buddhist path, addressing precious human rebirth, impermanence, karma, ethical discipline, the role of the spiritual teacher, renunciation, bodhicitta, and correct view. It connects the Sakya teaching with Gelug presentations of the three principal aspects of the path and the lamrim framework. The translation is accompanied by extensive philological, textual, and terminological notes and by editorial interventions aimed at preserving the structure and meaning of the Tibetan source while making the text accessible in Italian.
