This contribution is the Italian translation from Tibetan of a conference talk by Geshe Lobsang Tenkyong. The first part examines the importance of understanding happiness and suffering and the causes from which they arise. Although all beings seek happiness and wish to avoid suffering, a lack of understanding of their causes may lead them instead to create further conditions for suffering. The second part presents the twelve links of dependent arising through their symbolic representation in the Wheel of Cyclic Existence, illustrating central Buddhist principles of causality, interdependence, and the impossibility of any phenomenon existing entirely independently of others.

Abstract
This contribution is the Italian translation from Tibetan of a conference talk by Geshe Lobsang Tenkyong. The first part examines the importance of understanding happiness and suffering and the causes from which they arise. Although all beings seek happiness and wish to avoid suffering, a lack of understanding of their causes may lead them instead to create further conditions for suffering. The second part presents the twelve links of dependent arising through their symbolic representation in the Wheel of Cyclic Existence, illustrating central Buddhist principles of causality, interdependence, and the impossibility of any phenomenon existing entirely independently of others.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
