DIVE: In Diversity We Trust: Preserving and Promoting the Literary Heritage of Chinese Minorities

Following the establishment of the People’s Republic of China, millions of literary texts have been collected, edited, and disseminated through a vast network of local, regional, and national publishing efforts. The DIVE database offers a structured entry point into this monumental endeavor by focusing on the first multi-volume book series explicitly dedicated to presenting what is framed as the literary heritage of China’s ethnic minorities. It provides detailed metadata on the texts included in the series, including information on editorial boards, publication dates, ethnic classifications, and the structure of the volumes themselves.
