This volume seeks to answer these and other compelling questions that touch upon public health, cultural identity, and the very nature of community-building in a digital age. It brings together diverse scholarly perspectives to explore the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of foodrelated communication. The primary objective of this collection is indeed to investigate the strategies, narratives, and representations employed across a variety of contexts. To this end, the contributors apply a range of rigorous methodologies—from corpus linguistics and multimodal analysis to pragmatic and discourse-analytic approaches—to investigate how food is framed, discussed, regulated, and socialized across different platforms, genres, and languages.
