The chapters included in this edited volume offer a multifaceted overview of various contexts in which food is communicated and significantly contribute to several areas of food-related communication in the fields of Discourse Studies, Multimodality, and Food Studies. Thanks to its variety of theoretical frameworks, methodological approaches and research aims, the volume serves as a useful resource for researchers and students across linguistics, communication studies, media studies, and food policy. The chapters collectively demonstrate that to truly understand the move toward sustainable eating, we must first understand the complex, dynamic, and multimodal discourses that construct it. In other words, this is an appetizing book for insatiable academic minds.
