Antonio Enzo Quaglio. Un profilo

The volume collects the writings on Leonardo Giustinian that Antonio Enzo Quaglio, former professor at the Universities of Padua and Verona, published in the years between 1967 and 1992. Since these are contributions that are still fundamental for the study of the Venetian poet, scattered in reviews and not easy to find, it seemed useful to the editors to collect them and make them more easily accessible to scholars; in the same way, in the appendix are collected the texts critically established by Quaglio himself of 12 canzonettes of Giustinian. The volume is introduced by a profile of Quaglio, with its complete bibliography, edited by Tiziano Zanato, and a critical introduction on the studies on Giustinian di Quaglio by Gabriele Baldassari.

Il volume raccoglie gli scritti su Leonardo Giustinian che Antonio Enzo Quaglio, già professore alle Università di Padova e di Verona, ha pubblicato negli anni fra il 1967 e il 1992. Trattandosi di contributi a tutt’oggi fondamentali per lo studio del poeta veneziano, sparsi in riviste e di non facile reperimento, è parso utile ai curatori raccoglierli e renderli più agevolmente fruibili agli studiosi; allo stesso modo, in appendice vengono raccolti i testi criticamente stabiliti dallo stesso Quaglio di 12 canzonette giustinianee. Introducono il volume un profilo di Quaglio, con relativa bibliografia completa, a cura di Tiziano Zanato, e una premessa critica sugli studi su Giustinian di Quaglio a cura di Gabriele Baldassari.
