There exists a deep relation between the theories of the mind of the 20th century and the traumas of the great wars. Following Jean Oury, we could run a parallel, for instance, between WWI and the making of psychoanalysis and holistic neurology, between WWII and institutional psychotherapy at the Saint Alben clinic, between the Algerian war and the experience of La Borde clinic, without forgetting the relation between the social movements of 1968 and anti-psychiatry more in general.

Abstract
There exists a deep relation between the theories of the mind of the 20th century and the traumas of the great wars. Following Jean Oury, we could run a parallel, for instance, between WWI and the making of psychoanalysis and holistic neurology, between WWII and institutional psychotherapy at the Saint Alben clinic, between the Algerian war and the experience of La Borde clinic, without forgetting the relation between the social movements of 1968 and anti-psychiatry more in general.File in questo prodotto:
