I volti della povertà.

This chapter analyzes data collected in 2023 by the Listening Centers of the Caritas of the Archdiocese of Lucca. Following a methodological and territorial framework, the chapter offers a qualitative and quantitative interpretation of the hardship situations that emerged, with particular attention to the needs expressed by the people received. It reconstructs the socio-demographic profile of the users and examines the nature of the vulnerabilities detected, highlighting the main risk factors. One section is dedicated to the evolution of poverty conditions in recent years, while the conclusion reflects on the social implications of the data and possible intervention perspectives.
