Politiche e azioni regionali a supporto dell’imprenditoria femminile

The research activity provides an overview of regional legislation on female entrepreneurship. As an introduction, the concept of «female enterprise» is defined by identifying its main characteristics. The analysis then highlights, on the one hand, the main factors hindering the development of female entrepreneurship and, on the other, the reasons supporting an increase in the number of women-led businesses. The study then focuses on regional legal sources – particularly those of the Veneto Region – regarding the subject, including Regional Law No. 3/2022 on gender equality and other specific measures implemented by the Region. The perspective is subsequently broadened to include additional initiatives undertaken in other regional and provincial contexts.
