This article examines the presence of humanist and Renaissance epigraphic manuscripts and printed sylloges preserved in Venetian libraries. It situates these collections within the broader antiquarian culture of the city, highlighting Venice’s role as a major centre of book production and dissemination. The survey identifies extant witnesses and points to avenues for reconstructing lost or dispersed materials.
