In this paper, I will examine how Takahashi Tōru and Fujitsuka Chikashi, two scholars of Korean Confucianism at Keijō Imperial University, were situated within the current of Japanese Sinology represented by the Shibunkai, and how their positions within that scholarly field differed from one another. By focusing on the Samunhoe and exploring their research activities within the Sinological research genealogy of the time, this study seeks to provide a more multifaceted understanding of the discourse sand directions of Korean Confucianism research conducted at Keijō Imperial University.

Abstract
