This thesis intends to provide a detailed analysis of the concept of time-space (Zeit-Raum) that appears in the Beiträge and the treatises on the thought of the history of being of the 1930s/1940s. Time-space is in fact among the least known and most complex concepts of this phase of Heidegger's thought, and yet it is fundamental in that it marks a clear break from the temporality of the 1920s, and at the same time anticipates many themes of the 1950s. The thesis therefore focuses on the centrality of time-space, insisting particularly on its hybrid nature: time and space belong, on the one hand, to a metaphysical and philosophical tradition from which Heidegger also comes, but, on the other, their reciprocal relationship seems to move in a different direction. The first part of the thesis therefore reconstructs Heidegger's reception of Kant's Transcendental Aesthetics and Husserl's Phenomenology, in order to situate the time/space relation within a panorama that has its pivot in the concepts of openness and indication. The second part moves on to the Beiträge and the 1930s, with a lengthy analysis and interpretation of the main occurrences of time-space. Finally, the last part follows Heidegger's opening to Hölderlin's poetry, showing the original role played by space-time in the confrontation between thought and poetry.
