Cicli pittorici, spazi urbani e questioni di dissonanza. Il museo “Filippo Corridoni” fra Heritage Interpretation e ri-contestualizzazione

Approved on August 24, 2022, by the ICOM, the recent redefinition of Museum has correctly introduced the interpretation of heritage among the institutional missions of Museums. The theme of this contribution is to bring a stratigraphic reading of the art-historical facts, so that communities can perceive the museum as a space of resignification and neutralization of conflicts. The text examines pictorial cycles related to fascist apology, the reuse of classical ideals, and artistic propaganda actions in the space of the city of Filippo Corridoni.
