Literature, just like our universe, is nothing more than encounter, interactions and movement. This is why applying to the field of literature concepts and theories from fundamental physics, and from quantum mechanics in particular, can help us outline a theory that accounts for all the forces that contribute to the creation and evolution of every literary text, as well as of the literary system as a whole. This literary theory of everything aims to describe the internal and external forces that make up the text, the oppositions responsible for the creation of meaning within the literary text, and the interactions that generate the labyrinth of reinterpretations and rewritings at the heart of the literary system and of its evolution. Following the paths laid out by Borges and Manganelli and their intertwining with the roads opened up by Einstein and Heisenberg, we discover the field of possibilities generated by the literary text and its potential to transform itself into a multiverse, a possibility of infinite variation and transformation, which can only free our perception of literature from any presumed search for original, pure or definitive versions.
