Elementi di Econometria

Elementi di Econometria is a didactic text designed to guide students and scholars through a gradual learning path, starting from basic concepts and progressing toward more advanced topics. The book does not aim to be exhaustive with respect to the existing literature, but rather focuses on selected aspects deemed central to the teaching and practice of econometrics. The selection and sequencing of topics are driven by the need to ensure a natural progression of learning, where foundational concepts serve as a basis for developing more complex ideas. In shaping the overall structure, particular emphasis has been placed on the analysis of time series, rather than cross-sectional or panel data, based on the belief that a solid understanding of the former significantly facilitates the learning of the latter when addressed in other texts.
