La traducció com a hipertext múltiple: el cas de "Nuestra Natacha" (1935) de Alejandro Casona traduïda al català per Agustí Collado ("La nostra Natatxa", 1936)

Genette in Palimsestes includes among the transpositional practices translation, the purpose of which is the transmission of everything that characterizes a hypotext to make it intelligible to those who do not know the language in which it was written or who have partial knowledge of it. However, there are cases where translation transcends this function, takes on a different role and acquires additional functions. An example of this is offered by Casona’s Nuestra Natacha (1935), translated into Catalan by Collado (La nostra Natatxa, 1936). The objective of this type of transpositional operations is to communicate to the recipient an indentitary and even ideological message using translating practice, in order to promote identification and arouse adherence to the ideology expressed by the hypotext, perfectly understandable from a linguistic point of view for these concrete recipients, for whom it was not necessary to draw up a mediation hypertext. The article sets out the results of the analysis of these two texts and shows that translation ends up as a multiple hypertext, far beyond its eminently linguistic use and practice.
