L’epigrafia greca digitale. Un’introduzione

This chapter offers an introduction to the field of Greek digital epigraphy, outlining its disciplinary foundations, historical development, and current directions. It traces the evolution of the field from early digital cataloguing efforts to recent advances in data modelling, interoperability, and digital publication. Emphasis is placed on the methodological implications of digital tools and on how they have transformed traditional epigraphic practices. The chapter includes selected case studies that illustrate the diverse ways in which digital technologies are being employed.
