Archaeozoology allows to reconstruct many aspects of ancient societies, including the management of the domestic fauna both for food and economy. The paper aims to offer a preliminary framework of knowledge on these topics in the Norh-Eastern ltaly during the Roman age, proceeding through a comparative data analysis from about thirty contexts (cities, towns villas and fanns). Considering the specificity of each site, it has been possible to highlight the close relationship between the management of the domestic and wild animals and the environment, the economic systems and the eating habits.

Considering the specificity of each site, it has been possible to highlight the close relationship between the management of the domestic and wild animals and the environment, the economic systems and the eating habits.File in questo prodotto:
