This article sets out to address the question of how vulnerability in a globalised risk environment can be rethought. In order to do so, it identifies the key challenges facing social research in this field. It is crucial to conceptualise life courses, which Such changes are linked to interdependencies between personal events and contextual dynamics that are beyond individual control. Consequently, the model is not a residual welfare model dedicated to weak categories, but rather a comprehensive project in which all actors (public, private, intermediate bodies) are called upon to take care of their own and others' welfare. The model is based on a socialisation of global risks, with a focus on the capacitation and centrality of the person.

Abstract
This article sets out to address the question of how vulnerability in a globalised risk environment can be rethought. In order to do so, it identifies the key challenges facing social research in this field. It is crucial to conceptualise life courses, which Such changes are linked to interdependencies between personal events and contextual dynamics that are beyond individual control. Consequently, the model is not a residual welfare model dedicated to weak categories, but rather a comprehensive project in which all actors (public, private, intermediate bodies) are called upon to take care of their own and others' welfare. The model is based on a socialisation of global risks, with a focus on the capacitation and centrality of the person.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
