The book explores Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) as strategic tools for cooperation and integration between the public and private sectors, focusing on their ability to address contemporary challenges in public infrastructure and services. In the context of increasing budget constraints and social complexity, PPPs emerge as solutions for managing complex projects that require substantial financial and technical resources. Partnerships are designed to enable governments and public systems to bridge the financial and infrastructure gap by involving private capital, thereby reducing pressure on public accounts while simultaneously improving the quality and speed of essential public service delivery. The analysis offers an interpretation of PPPs as instruments capable of integrating knowledge, resources, and expertise, even while acknowledging challenges related to risk transfer and performance measurement. Through the contribution of the private sector in terms of technological know-how and innovative practices, PPPs facilitate the introduction of cutting-edge solutions, thereby contributing to social progress and economic resilience. A cross-cutting approach to sustainability is chosen as a guiding principle for innovative PPPs, highlighting the need to focus not only on economic and financial impact but also on environmental and social dimensions.

Abstract
A cross-cutting approach to sustainability is chosen as a guiding principle for innovative PPPs, highlighting the need to focus not only on economic and financial impact but also on environmental and social dimensions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
