In recent years there has been a need to recover a new public dimension and with it a New Public Governance. There is greater awareness of the importance of working on Public Value Governance. In Italy the path of simplification and de-bureaucratization has been undertaken and the Integrated Activity and Organization Plan - IAOP as a unique programming and Public Value Governance tool has helped to take the first steps in the right direction, but the journey is only just beginning.

Abstract
