Issue 13 (2024) of the journal MDCCC 1800 brings together a group of essays that examine the process of adaptation, revision and re-use that Ruskin applied to his own discourse and to heterogeneous materials in the construction of his works, as well as the legacy he left to thinkers, writers and artists of later periods. In particular, the volume includes papers related to architecture, explored here through the theme of change and the concept of adaptation. This part of the volume is followed by the Miscellanea section, which gathers together four essays by young researchers and established specialists on topics, episodes or geographical areas that have been largely neglected in studies of nineteenth-century Europe.

Abstract
Issue 13 (2024) of the journal MDCCC 1800 brings together a group of essays that examine the process of adaptation, revision and re-use that Ruskin applied to his own discourse and to heterogeneous materials in the construction of his works, as well as the legacy he left to thinkers, writers and artists of later periods. In particular, the volume includes papers related to architecture, explored here through the theme of change and the concept of adaptation. This part of the volume is followed by the Miscellanea section, which gathers together four essays by young researchers and established specialists on topics, episodes or geographical areas that have been largely neglected in studies of nineteenth-century Europe.I documenti in ARCA sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
