The aim of this paper is to highlight the extraordinary contribution that an interdisciplinary method can make to the study of epigraphic documentation found in 'sacred' areas. On the basis of the work presented, it will be highlighted unexplored aspects relating to materiality, be it in the form of objects, food and coins. In particular, the role of writing in relation to ritual practices between Ancient Venetia and the Roman presence will be taken into consideration and problematized.
